Godalming Conservatives have chosen local resident Myles Green to be their candidate as Godalming Town Council’s newest member, with a by-election due in the Central & Ockford Ward on Thursday 11th February.
Myles lives in Godalming and has been an active volunteer in the local community including as a Community First Responder with St John Ambulance. His career in retail has involved roles in Godalming and Guildford and he is currently the manager of a large store in Haslemere.
Myles said: “It is a real honour and a privilege to be putting my name forward to stand for Godalming Town Council. I love our town and as someone who wants to give back to my local community I believe I have a lot to offer. I can’t wait to get out and talk to local residents about how we can make Godalming an even better place to live and work.”
